Successful Selling Over the Phone - Course Description
“Selling” products and services face to face can be a major challenge in its own right. For many however it is even more challenging to “sell” over the phone. This Telesales Course therefore, provides an insight into how to maximise your rapport and communication skills in this arena and to engage effectively enough to grab the attention of the listener and ultimately make a sale.
The programme takes many of the generic sales techniques and approaches that work well on a face to face basis and allows participants to understand how to adapt them to the world of telephone sales.
The Telephone Sales course is designed to allow participants to:
- Understand the importance of "product" and "service knowledge"
- Understand the mindset of customers when they are "receiving" a Sales call
- Approach making a "cold call" and ensuring that the call "warms up"
- Understand and utilise a range of Communication Skills including "questioning" and "listening" to maximise the success of the call
- Understand how to create an interest in a product or service in order to make the listener "buy"
- Develop tools, techniques and confidence to "close a sale".
Who Should Attend?
This Telesales course is targeted at anyone responsible for any element of a “sales process” primarily through telephone contact. The programme is designed to help such people become more confident and competent in this particular area.

Start Time
The 4 Hour Live Webinar starts promptly at 9.30am. You will be sent Joining Information in advance with full instructions of how to join the class via Zoom. There will be plenty of comfort breaks built in to the session.

Your digital CPD Accredited certificate will be available to download and print as soon as you have successfully completed the e-Learning Module
Study at Your Own Pace
You can study the e-Learning Module in your own time and at your own pace. You can stop and start the course and replay the content to help you successfully answer the multiple choice questions
Course Materials
The cost includes digital course notes and copies of slides which will be emailed to you at the end of the Live Webinar, along with the link to the e-Learning Module
Coaching Session
You can book your (optional) 45 minute Coaching Session with the course tutor up to a fortnight after the Live Webinar has taken place. This will give you plenty of time to think about what you want to get out of the session.
3 Months Tutor Support
We provide 3 months tutor support after the course has taken place, so if you need any help or advice, you can contact us and the tutor will get in touch with you directly via email
