Who Should Attend This Sales Training Course?
This course is targeted at any member of staff who need to improve their selling skills. The course is suitable for anyone working in a pure Sales environment and is also suitable for anyone who deals with customers and who are looking to maximise the impact of their Customer Service and Sales techniques in work based situations.
Blended Learning
We deliver the 1 day Sales Course as a “blended learning” programme which means that after the classroom course has been delivered, each delegate will be given access to an e-Learning Module which can be studied in their own time. The module takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and delegates will have access to the materials for 12 months. Once the module has been successfully completed, the course becomes CPD accredited and a CPD certificate will be available to download and print to demonstrate their commitment to Continuous Professional Development. The Course carries 3 CPD points.
The course will start by providing an overview of the basic rules for Sales people, along with the right mindset, self-assessment and the goals you’ll need in the short, medium and long term.
It will cover cold calling, including how to prepare, what to say and how to deal with “gatekeepers” as well as walking you through a typical “face-to-face” meeting.
You will learn how to start a meeting, the questions you need to ask your prospect, practical tips for presentations including, staying relaxed, getting across your main messages, handling questions and using presentation aids.
We will also be analysing how you can sell by stressing the results prospects can expect if they buy, and how best to play to their emotions.
We will take a look at Negotiation. We will highlight how you can avoid it, what to say if you’re drawn into it, and how you can use your negotiating skills to land the sale and much more.

The e-learning course takes approximately 120 mins to complete. You have access to the course materials for 12 months. This can be useful to refer back to as a refresher.
The course is CPD accredited and carries 3 CPD Points
The course format is a presenter led video, followed by a series of multiple choice questions. You have 3 attempts to successfully answer each question correctly. Once all modules have been passed, you will be issued with a digital CPD accredited certificate to download and print for your records.
