Opportunity to put all of the programme’s learning into practice through a final Negotiation, Influencing and Persuasion Simulated exercise.

DiSC Behavioural Profile

A large part of Negotiation is having an understanding of how other people behave and react in given situations. In order to enhance the quality and effectiveness of this course, we include a DiSC Behavioural Profile Report for every delegate in attendance, and the course trainer will dedicate part of the session to explaining how this extremely powerful and practical tool can be used and applied in the workplace in a wide variety of Management situations. Each delegate will be required to complete a 10 minute online questionnaire in advance of the course which will generate a 20 page personalised report giving a very detailed insight into your own particular “behavioural style”, which will be yours to keep and take away.

Blended Learning

We deliver the 2 day Influencing and Negotiation Course as a “blended learning” programme which means that after the classroom course has been delivered, each delegate will be given access to an e-Learning Course which can be studied in their own time.  The ourse takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and delegates will have access to the materials for 12 months.  Once the course has been successfully completed, the course becomes CPD accredited and a CPD certificate will be available to download and print to demonstrate their commitment to Continuous Professional Development.  The Module carries  2 CPD points.

Negotiation is a basic means of getting what you want from others. It’s a back and forth communication designed to reach an agreement when you and the other side have some interests that are shared and others that are opposed.

This course covers the basics of what constitutes a Negotiation, the key stages of a Negotiation, skills you can apply to your negotiations and some practical advice so you can bring all of this together and become a more effective negotiator.

The e-learning course takes approximately 90 mins to complete.  You have access to the course materials for 12 months.  This can be useful to refer back to as a refresher.

The course is CPD accredited and carries 2 CPD Points 

The course format is a presenter led video, followed by a series of multiple choice questions.  You have 3 attempts to successfully answer each question correctly.  Once all modules have been passed, you will be issued with a digital CPD accredited certificate to download and print for your records.
