Negotiation is a dialogue between two or more people or parties with the intention of reaching a beneficial outcome regarding one or more issues of conflict.  It is an interaction and process between entities who aspire to agree on matters of mutual interest while optimizing their individual outcomes.  It is a method by which people settle differences and a process by which compromise or agreement is reached while avoiding argument and dispute.
