Mental Health Workshops and Webinars
“At any one time, one in five working people will have a mental health difficulty. Many will never get any help. Some end up losing their jobs while for others being at work is an important part of recovering from a mental health problem. Every organisation across the country is affected by mental health problems in the workforce. These figures indicate a crucial need for them to create healthy work environments and properly support those employees experiencing mental health problems. To do otherwise will undermine not only the wellbeing and happiness of employees, but the wealth of businesses and the health of society.
Sarah Hughes, Chief Executive, Centre for Mental Health
At Asset Training Academy, we firmly believe that happy employees are productive employees. We have recently put together a suite of “Mental Health and Resilience” short workshops that are designed to help SMEs create a culture and environment that prioritises employee ‘mental health and resilience’.
Our workshops are designed for all levels in your organisation, whether you are an employee, supervisor or leader – there is a workshop that will suit everyone. They are designed to help people become more aware of the common signs of mental health and ensure the right support mechanisms are in place to either directly help staff or signpost them to specialist support organisations. They are also designed to create a culture of resilience where an inclusive, open culture is the norm and people can have open discussions with their employees and staff about sensitive issues surrounding mental health. The workshops are designed to help SME’s recruit the most talented employees who want to work for an organisation with a reputation that genuinely cares for its people and one that puts ‘mental health’ as a priority on the agenda.
